Our free range hens enjoy access to open outdoor spaces where they can roam freely and behave how they naturally would. Every egg we produce is carefully collected and handled to ensure the highest standards of freshness and quality.

At Farmer Rod’s, we take pride in:

  • Producing fresh free range

  • Maintaining high animal welfare standards

  • Supporting sustainable farming practices

  • Delivering quality products to local families and businesses

  • Providing reliable service with a personal touch

Welcome to Farmer Rod's, where we take pride in bringing you eggs that go beyond the ordinary. Founded with a passion for ethical farming and a commitment to the well-being of our hens, Farmer Rod's is more than just a brand — it's a promise.

We are passionate about producing high-quality eggs that families can trust. Specialising in free range eggs, we are committed to delivering freshness, quality, and care from our farm to your table.

Our farm was built on traditional values — hard work, honesty, and respect for our animals. We believe that healthy hens produce better eggs, which is why we focus on providing a clean, comfortable, and well-managed environment for all of our birds.

MEET FARMER ROD & FAMILY

Farmer Rod is the founder and face of Farmer Rod’s.

A third generation farmer, Rod has always had a passion for animals and the land. Starting out as a sheep grazier upon leaving school, Rod eventually found his love for chickens when the wool market crashed in the early 1990s, becoming the first and only free range egg farm in NSW.

What started out as a side operation running 500 hens soon grew to the family’s main business and running 20,000 hens. Today with the help of his wife and children, Farmer Rod’s has grown to where it is today.
